Hericium Digest is a 3-part course diving deep into Hericium species including the well known Lion’s Mane.

Part 1: explores their global anthropology + ecology, laying the foundation for the species diversity and habitats that give insight into a variety of cultivation methods, cooking and medicinal uses. Part 1 gives you a foundation to dive deeper into the science and analytics presented in Part 2.

Part 2: offers a deeper intensive into the chemistry and biology of the species, which leads into the compounds of interest that have been studied within the species, the various processing methods including extraction, and an overview of the current testing landscape + practices.

Part 3: contextualizes these explorations in Part 1 and 2 with long-form community interviews of people working closely with the mushrooms we know and love.

This course is self guided! We have prepared educational slides with linked sources, video recordings, and knowledge check in points to allow you to work at your own pace and have plenty of reference materials.
